Deception Pass Falls On Sunday

Some Pictures From Earlier Today:

Along the trail down to the North Side Beach of Deception Pass.

Deep Fried Jalapeno Chips w/ Chipotle Ranch & Calzone from: Louie G's Pizza
highly recommended if you're ever in the town. SO YUM!

Current Reads: Pole Shift

Currently reading: Pole Shift
Author: John White
Rating: 4/5 Stars (So far...)

Ive been reading this book for about a month and a half, to two months. I would recommend it for any geography enthusiast, or anyone interested in earth changes in general. The book is put together well by the author, and even reassures the reader to keep an open mind about all the theories gathered around the mainstream (and non mainstream) scientist about this event known as the "pole shift". It also gives the detailed interviews between them, and references to more interesting reads. Another reason I would recommend this book is because he also gives both sides of the verdict. He doesn't seem to be writing a bias book only supporting one side of the spectrum, but seems to ask the questions the reader would ask (or at least I would) and gives an explanation. The book was copyrighted in 1980, but it still seems to ask and answer some of the questions that are timeless that involve this topic.

Notable: The theories on the freezing and thawing of the mammoths are definitely worth the read.

a prequel to a gathering where we all wear black

on a sunday night:

he'd been fighting back the tears
all weekend...
on the drive home be realized he'd been starving for conversation for quite sometime.
he thought to himself about the girl he's been seeing and how she never fed him emotionally.
as the cars motor hummed into a static background noise,
his smile that he had learn to fake for years began to dismantle before his own eyes that were fixed upon the rear view mirror

he tried to think of happier thoughts by pulling on memories of his former friends, families, and former loves..
..because to him those were happier times.

he thought of the beach he used to visit with his family growing up during the summer.. the sound of seagulls and the conversation his mother and father were having seemed to flow well with the sound of the crashing waves that never seemed to have perfect timing..

he looks down and sees his feet halfway buried beneath the sand while he twiddled with his toes to make the ground ripple like a beach blanket

he hears his moms laugh over the gentle sea breeze

he looks back toward his parents and watches his dad sneak a kiss on her shoulder while his mom throws her beach towel through the warm air, waving it like a flag.

"don't run off too far! you just ate and I don't want you getting cramps honey!"

her voice faded
in and out like an AM radio station through a series of city tunnels

the sky began to rain as he looked up towards the sky
he notices two stars eliminating like a pulse

they begin to grow.

his daydream ended with the sight of the ongoing headlights

his radio station now fixed on a white noise began to pull him further to reality as his ears tried to decipher the broken conversation being given through the static every now and then

Obama signs Monsanto Protection Act: my kinda reaction

some food for thought..
whether you're
democrat
republican
liberal
conservative
black
white
yellow
gray
gay
straight
hairy
bald
short
tall
boy
girl
boy and girl
or part of a human centipede
mermaid..
i think this issue is something everyone can relate to on each end of the spectrum.

while us americans are fighting the good fight, or spectating in the front row,
they signed the bill for the Monsanto Protection Act.

now i'm not much for conspiracy theories..
but this seems like some new world order shit right "thurrrr"
i mean c'mon... that's controlling of the food. Monsanto copyrights their seeds and then what?
farmer has to pay to use that patent?

in all honesty though i kind of felt like he was going to sign it regardless..( i was still having just a slight bit of hope...just a little)

i do like how NONE of this ever surfaced main steam news. which to me tells me...well media seems to be controlled at some point... i mean c'mon.
they're saying unemployment has dropped from 9% to 7.7% since 2012..?
i could ask around and see people getting laid off or fired every other week.
and it's pretty god damn hard these days for anyone to even get their foot inside a job anymore
it always makes me refer back to the scene from "the network"

some light shining for motorcyclist in wa wa WAshington

http://www.king5.com/news/local/Motorcycles-run-red-lights-200242901.html

The reader's digest version of this is pretty much since motorcycles are light, sometimes the stop light sensors arent able to read that there's a bike in the lane, THEREFORE, theirfore, they'refor, they're for, the damn light won't turn green if you're in a left turn lane. if that makes any sense,

http://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summary.aspx?year=2013&bill=5141

im pro SB 5141  as of now...
(watch they might sneak it something in this bill like... "oh by the way, you have to pay more for tabs or something.. or you have to like the movie twilight and recite a chapter from the book. ((im just referencing that because the new book "the host" is written by her.. and it seems like she just copied a sci fi story line and added a teenage love story..)) but that' s off topic..)

a view of our empty media centre in our apartment

trying to figure out how to get more "grainy" pictures.
pictures in black and white do give pictures a "im so deep" type of feeling though which is pretty cliche' in a funny way.

ant invasion pt: 1

so moving to camelot apartments and realize how useless they can be when it comes to ant invasions...

what once was just 3 to 4 ants because 50+ very quickly...
I tried the sugar and borax mix, the raid fog bombers, the ant cafeterias (the ones where they bring back to the queen and they feed her the poison first hand and she dies... and they all die..)
tried all and I think I just need instant gratification of seeing zero ants right away. I've spoken with neighbors and some of them are experiencing them, and some are not..

we've reported the problem numerous times and the office just says "ya we have an exterminator coming out on Friday"
do they not realize that they spread in a matter of seconds.
I guess it's my fault for bringing my gf into this lol but god damn why are there no good property managers in apartment complexes?!

maintenance is a joke. maybe 1/20 know what the fuck they're doing...
had a problem with the toilet not flushing and the guy said "oh it's weak.."
then after numerous times afterwords they brought in a plumber and now the toilet works like a dream..
are we paying for these idiots to not do their fucking jobs?
I'm ready to apply so I can do the jobs myself right the first time.

well needless to say hopefully see less ants.. updates soon.

black jazz

listening to a tape mix i received several years ago by an elderly man I met in an old studio I was staying in downtown Everett. The tape consists of cut up live takes of the wonderful Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. I feel guilty for not giving it back. I'm actually surprised I found it (considering it was knee deep in a bin locked away in my storage unit...)

listening it brings me back to a song and sound of better times. the imperfections make it perfect.

a ruthless rant

swing you sinners
as her odors aged pungent
she was adored by no one but the bar room ballers
and she muted the fact that she loved it

nightmares of sex with a faceless figure
had the texture cold boulders
positioned in an unnatural form
what treasures lay beneath her?
she scoffed the way I look
by the colour of my skin
she scoffed the way I look
with a chuckle and grin

and the children outdoors
made sandcastles out of bar room ashtrays
held together with oil and spit
while the seagulls soared to eat and shit
they used sunflower seeds as torpedoes
and used the whores who blows as strong as twisters
they stacked the fags like firewood logs
and powwowed to their guilts, their gods, their songs

my ribs became a withered spider
on its back with eight legs curled

I woke up to the noise of passing cars
and mating birds shifting in the trees
the morning dews collected on the fingertips of bulimic branches magnified the rising sun blanketed in fog
the spirit of the radiator whispered monotone
I looked towards the east to find the vacant body of my lover still asleep and sound
she was a heavy sleeper no doubt

I began to play connect the dots with her freckles that she's been insecure about since her high-school
her navel resembled a wishing well
that I'd throw lucky pennies in
hoping she'd never leave

she wasn't skinny
she wasn't fat
she was perfect

as I ran my fingers down the silhouette of her body, I noticed a smear of blood that would soon follow
I have cut myself to the sharp curves of her body..

the imperfections she neglected
the years of childhood depressions
...these were a few of my favorite things

I was a fool to think this would last forever..

but what's a man in love?
if he isn't a fool

her respiratory system started up
like a cold engine in the morning..

her bones began to unlock at the joints while her skin stretched like a used rubber Johnny that moulded over her body frame..

her heart ran like a piston as she sighed like a carburetor..

as her eyelids began to split open, I started noticing the colour of her pupils peeking through her Venus fly trap-like eye lashes.
they were the colour of the ocean...
...the deep blue sea

sheep and wolf

and when they're hungry they eat sheep

don't be a sheep

bored thoughts

99.9% of the people I know are the same:
-dependency on substances whether it be alcohol or drugs
-enjoy the same movies, musiq, and/or some form of entertainment or recreational activity
-views on how the world an society should be viewed and on how it should function

I've come to the realization today. even when you think someone's different, they become just as the same as everyone I've met before. a tile on a bathroom floor not yet laid until further notice.
at times I feel alone

the words are different, but the arguments the same

I do find myself learning more from people who've had life experience rather than an educated student who only knows a life of sleeping in, partying, and smoking pot along with the rest of the school world who think they're different from society and somewhat unique.
but whatever makes them happy I guess.

I just with there was a Doppelganger I can run into...
someday.

some fun with some apps (free)

i couldn't ask for someone sweeter than her

nice guy recognition

i don't know his name.
I just know he works at the shell station, graveyard shift. the guy always seems to have a positive vibe every time I come in to grab coffee.

we need more people like that in the morning...

you can have a mini conversation with him and he just seems like he has this "life's good" attitude.

we need more people like that in the world...

less me:more you

courtroom confessions [pt 3.25]

she looked across at the plaintiff
to the predator who saw her naked...
with hungry hungry lawyers
who'd window shopping voyeurs
and we saw the faces of murder

defendant:

she was a rose...
            pretty and horny..

the murderer was a skeptic of strangers' criticism
so he cut her up and drained her through the taxpayers plumbing system

hours passed

I saw her head face down in the bathroom sink
so i poured himself a drink...
a mix of circus tamed dandelions
that garnished her half dry virgin bloody Mary's..

(..the sentinels stood guard
dressed in clothes dyed in blue
by the doorway they waited)

mutiny
onto the brick red homes
till the timber ejaculates like wildfire!

witness #2:

clean cut and shaven
he stole the love of my life
and fucked her in his tiny apartment
and when she awaken
he made her moan to death
like a last breath of a euthanized raven
although she did enjoy that
she started to leak
like the oil of a neglected trans am
